Keum-boo Workshop with Charles Lewton-Brain

3 hours workshop - 6 to 9 pm Prerequisite: No experience needed. Includes 2 squares of silver and 24k gold for sample work. Join us and master goldsmith, Charles Lewton-Brain, this Spring for our newest 3-hour Workshop! Charles will be teaching students how to hot burnish 24k gold leaf onto silver sheets using the ancient Korean technique of Keum-boo. With this beautiful method you'll be able to easily add the richness of 24k gold to your pieces and when paired with liver of sulfur, you have the ability to have yellow, white and black all on one single object. Gorgeous!
