Fluorite, Calcite (China)

FLUORITE, CALCITE & QUARTZ Fujian Province China 8.6 x 7.4 x 2.3 Inches 22 x 19 x 6 Centimeters Cabinet A few things to consider about this specimen: I received it from a reputable Chinese dealer many years ago - It was marked as Fujian Province but I did some research trying to narrow down the locality. Yaogangxian, Xia Yang and Xianghualing Mines all have examples but nothing on MinDat similar looking to this one (Matrix, etc) showed up. Part of me wonders if this piece had green fluorite that was "cooked" to turn blue... but the calcite and the quartz appear to be natural so I can't say for sure. It is a nice and very large specimen that would make a great decorator piece.
