Darwin Finches Wall Art

This is a print of an original watercolor and graphite painting inspired by Elizabeth Lear's illustration of the finches of the Galapagos. The variation in beak sizes of the subfamily Geospizinae is an example of adaptive radiation, where a single progenitor species evolves into multiple new forms to exploit new ecological niches. Observing these finches aided Charles Darwin in developing his theory of evolution. This print would look great on the wall of a biology professor, biology student, or anyone who understands evolution. Choose from an unframed or framed museum-quality matte paper poster. Print Quality: •The 250 gsm/ 110lb paper is matte, uncoated and natural white. Inks are archival quality. •The paper is acid-free and FSC-certified.
