Every time you cut pressure-treated timber, the cut end is left exposed and unprotected. Applying ESP end grain preservative restores the treatment barrier and is essential for long-term durability — especially for posts and joists in ground contact or near soil. How it goes together: Dig your post holes and set the fence posts using Postcrete — just add water, no mixing required. Fix the 47mm x 150mm carcassing across as joists at 400mm centres. Lay and fix the decking boards on top using the 65mm decking screws. Treat all cut ends with ESP as you go. Natural softwood gives your garden a warm, authentic look that lasts.
