Handbuilt and wheel-thrown alabaster, almond, and charcoal vase on stoneware with brushed magnetite. Altered shape with a weighted base for a variety of long stems. Magnetite is a rock mineral and one of the main iron ores, with the chemical formula Fe3O4. It is one of the oxides of iron and is ferrimagnetic (it is attracted to a magnet and can be magnetized to become a permanent magnet itself). It is the most magnetic of all the naturally occurring minerals on Earth and has many positive energetic properties as a crystal. The perfect large vessel for flowers, stems, or decor.
