ROSEN Mésa Double-Breasted Coat in Wool

The Mésa Coat is the collection's titular piece and an all-new design for ROSEN. As a nod to one of tailoring's most prominent military greatcoats, the Mésa is double-breasted with expanded gusseted front carry pockets. The Mésa is cut with a generous silhouette when worn open for layering and motion, with a distinctly different look when belted. Its gusseted front waist pockets can store significant items, even larger notebooks and water bottles, while comfortably doubling as handwarmers. Its wide and boxy silhouette reflects the need for protection in an increasingly solitary, atomised world, pairing well with similarly voluminous outfits. The Mésa Coat is made in a Japanese wool of a hybrid crosshatched and broken twill weave. Woven in multi-coloured yarns that differs from traditional tweed, this combination of weave and colouration gives the garment a vivid texture rarely found in the typical fabric. This material is available in a limited quantity. The Mésa coat is half-lined in pure ethical Tussah silk fabric for elevated luxury and comfort.
