1920's - 1930's Toy Sewing Machine, Little Red Riding Hood

This antique toy sewing machine was made in Germany, likely in the 1920's - 1930's. It has its original black finish with decorative decals, including a Little Red Riding Hood and wolf scene. Toy sewing machines like this were not just for children—many adults took them along when traveling, as they were perfect for simple mending away from home. The machine turns smoothly and operates well. The presser foot lever works as it should, and the original spool holder is still in place. It is in overall good condition for its age, with expected wear. There is some loss to the decorative decals, and the stitch plate shows some pitting consistent with years of use.
