SHADOW TRACE

Shadow Wool — TRACE is a sculptural floor lamp where surface becomes a record of gesture and material presence. The base is hand-shaped from Pleto Biocomposite — our signature material composed of clay, hemp fibers, cellulose, wood shavings, mineral powders, and an eco-friendly binder. Its fluid, wave-like silhouette carries a series of hand-applied marks, forming an irregular pattern that reads not as decoration, but as trace — an imprint of process, rhythm, and touch. The surface is left matte, preserving the raw, tactile quality of the material and emphasizing its depth and natural irregularity. Above, a dense wool shade in deep graphite is constructed from hand-spun Carpathian fibers, layered to create a soft yet sculptural volume. When illuminated, the shade diffuses light into a warm, intimate glow, shifting the object from graphic contrast to a quiet, atmospheric presence. Each piece is crafted slowly, embracing variation and imperfection as essential qualities rather than flaws.
