A beautifully textured Yarra Valley Pinot Noir sourced from two of Handpicked's own estate vineyards Wombat Creek in the elevated Upper Yarra and Highbow Hill on the valley floor at Yarra Glen. Wild strawberry and mixed cherries on the nose with anise and cinnamon, while the palate combines the weight and black fruit generosity of Highbow Hill with the juicy, fine-boned structure of Wombat Creek. Hand-harvested, open fermented and matured for 10 months in a mix of old and new French oak, this is a Pinot that rewards both immediate pleasure and patient cellaring.
