Frustration

A silver pendant, entirely made and engraved by hand, without molding, casting, or machine work. It takes the shape of a jigsaw puzzle with one piece missing. That missing piece hangs on a short chain, close enough to feel like it should fit back into place, but just out of reach. It sits somewhere between something complete and something that never quite will be. A small object about frustration, and about the quiet, constant attempt to belong.
