Purple Crocus

The anticipation of seeing the earth transformed from winter to spring. As I painted, It evolved into something much more. The idea of emerging from darkness into light. It was relevant for personal challenges as well as things happening in the world. My intention was to make something beautiful that evoked calm. The crocus represents the joy of a new beginning and a new season. A beautiful beacon of hope.
