Kakheti, Georgia— Big, bold old-school Saperavi aged in Qveri. Dark, inky and full-bodied: blackberry, plum, iron, pepper, dried herbs, stones and earth. A powerful red wine! Artanuli Gaprenili began farming his vineyards organically in 2005, but transitioned to making his own wine in 2019 using only traditional methods.
