Instructions for use Adjusting tension: The Retractor comes pre-tensioned for most situations. The Straight arch is standard and should fit most patients. To Reduce Tension: Remove the retractor and gently bend the stainless steel arch. Repeat until the desired “continuous curve is achieved. To increase tension, bend in the opposite direction. The Retractor is then ready for intraoral use. Maintenance Tips After multiple uses and sterilization cycles, discoloration may appear on the tubes. Use Sotch brite – Never Scratch Wool Soap Pads to gently and quickly remove these marks.
