FP401 Fireseal Acrylic is a 1-component fire resistant sealant based on acrylic dispersion. FP401 Fireseal Acrylic is a plastoelastic sealant which is suitable for up to 4 hours of fire resistant sealing of linear joints. USES FP401 Fireseal Acrylic is specifically developed for fire resistant sealing of linear connection joints in gypsum and stony substrates. Fire resistance tested according to EN 1366-4. Ensure that you choose the correct fire resistance for your application by consulting the classification and test reports. Extensively tested for fire resistance according to EN 1366-4 Fire resistance up to 4 hours in linear joints Can be applied separately or in combination with Bostik FP 404 Fire Retardant PU (Gun)Foam in joints up to 40mm wide Sound insulation tested according to EN ISO 10140-2:2010 Can be applied in both vertical as horizontal joints CE classification: EN 15651-1: F-EXT-INT-CC 7.5P Joint movement up to 7.5% Easy to apply and clean Paintable with most water based and synthetic paints Almost odourless Non corrosive towards metals APPLICATION Surfaces must be clean, dry and dust free. Cut the cartridge seal and screw on nozzle which should be cut to required size. Gun the sealant firmly into joint ensuring no air is trapped behind. Tool with a spatula wetted whilst acrylic is still wet. If required place masking tape along joint edges, removing within 6 minutes of application.
