Carex arcta (Northern Clustered Sedge)
Northern Clustered Sedge is a graceful wetland sedge with narrow, bluish-green foliage. The leaves are unusually soft to the touch for a sedge, giving the plant a fine, delicate texture. It forms loose clumps and is well suited to moist to wet sites, growing in marshes and swamps. It readily colonizes disturbed wetland areas, making it a useful species for restoration and revegetation of wet sites.
