Spoke Click Model A - Prototypes

With the Model A, we’re exploring a more visually streamlined click pen built around a slightly slimmer diameter and offered in three material configurations: Spoke Steel (with matte Titanium clip & grey anodized button) Spoke Steel (with Spoke Brass tips (with matte Titanium clip & grey anodized button) Spoke Brass (with black Titanium clip & black anodized button) Our “Spoke Steel” is a stainless alloy with a bright silver appearance and satisfying heft without feeling overly heavy. “Spoke Brass” provides a warm golden appearance and a more substantial weight. The mixed-material version combines a Spoke Steel body with Spoke Brass accents for added contrast. The pen is provides without a clear coat and the brass will quickly develop a unique patina over time with use. Each body is hand-finished with a light brushed texture that adds grip and helps counter the inherent slickness of a plain cylindrical pen. At 10mm in diameter—compared with the 10.5mm diameter of many of our pens—the Model A feels noticeably slimmer in hand while still retaining a substantial feel. Paired with our standard titanium clip, its clean design remains distinctly Spoke. For now, the Model A is a prototype release. Whether it becomes a standard Spoke offering is still to be determined.
