The collar uses two types of detection at the same time. First, it listens for the sound of your dog barking. At the same time, a vibration sensor detects movement from your dog’s throat. When both signals are detected, the collar activates your selected response: Beep, vibration or beep + vibration. This dual-detection system helps reduce accidental activation from surrounding sounds, another dog barking nearby or normal movements such as scratching. If your dog continues barking, the collar progressively adjusts its response. Once your dog has been quiet for approximately 30 seconds, the cycle resets. There is no static shock at any stage. HOW TO USE 1. Charge Before Use Fully charge the collar before using it for the first time. Charging takes approximately 2 hours. 2. Fit the Collar Place the collar high on your dog’s neck with the sensor sitting against the throat area. The collar should be snug without being tight. You should be able to comfortably fit one finger between the strap and your dog’s neck. 3. Select Your Training Mode Choose between: Beep Vibration Beep + Vibration Start with the gentlest setting that gets your dog’s attention. 4. Adjust the Sensitivity Begin at a lower sensitivity level and gradually increase it if your dog’s barking is not being detected consistently. Dogs with softer barks may require a higher sensitivity setting. 5. Introduce It Gradually Allow your dog time to get used to wearing the collar. For best results, use it alongside positive reinforcement, rewarding your dog when they settle or remain quiet. 6. Check the Fit Regularly Check your dog’s neck regularly for any signs of rubbing or irritation. Avoid leaving the collar on for more than 12 hours within a 24-hour period. FOR DOGS WITH THICK OR LONG FUR The vibration sensor needs good contact with your dog’s neck to detect barking accurately. If your dog has thick or long fur, gently part the fur around the sensor area. If necessary, carefully trim a small amount of fur to improve contact. Do not shave the area.
