ROLEX Oyster Perpetual Day Date Ref. 1806 (1962)

Available for sale is an uncommon example of an icon, that I believe came from the original family (sold by the daughter of the original owner who gathers that he bought the watch new in Paris in the 1960s) Reference 1806 between the lugs denotes the lesser seen textured "Florentine" case finish, with matching textured bracelet stamped 62 Champagne dial with claw markers and cigarette hands - original lume to both The bracelet will fit up to approximately an 18.5 cm wrist The serial number is worn and sadly not legible (what appears to be an 8 shows under loupe which would date the watch correctly to 1962), however the Art Loss Register confirms the watch by way of its movement serial number (can provide document upon sale), and with the bracelet stamped 62, plus family provenance, confirming the originality of this watch I do not know the service history however it is currently running well (timegraph reading to follow)
