When you are on top of it, an on-screen sonde icon confirms the exact location. Line trace mode follows an energized line with a compass icon, so you can map a run rather than just find a point. Two 3D antennas do the locating, a calibration test lets you verify the tool is reading true, and the IP65 rating means a wet trench does not end the job.
