Night Pager ST BUTTERFLY is a Toyota Corolla GR-specific steering wheel switch box designed to retain key factory steering wheel controls when upgrading to an aftermarket steering wheel. Its compact, motorsport-inspired design integrates essential vehicle functions into a CNC-machined aluminium housing, helping maintain convenient control without compromising the driving experience. Night Pager ST BUTTERFLY Switch Box features dedicated control groups operated by five-way joystick switches and push-button switches. Depending on vehicle specification, these controls can operate functions such as the audio system, navigation and cruise control. Four switches illuminate in sync with the vehicle’s instrument lighting, improving visibility during night driving. Compact 14 mm-thick housing is CNC-machined from aluminium and finished in black anodising for a durable, lightweight and motorsport-inspired appearance. The reverse side features a laser-engraved “MADE IN TOKYO” marking. A vehicle-specific wiring harness is included to simplify connection to the original vehicle wiring. The harness uses vehicle-specific connectors; however, wiring modifications may be required on certain vehicles. Night Pager ST BUTTERFLY Switch Box is designed for use with aftermarket steering wheels and is compatible with both deep-dish and semi-dish designs. Optional 40 mm and 50 mm extension shafts are available to help position the steering wheel to suit its shape. It is also compatible with MOMO and Nardi steering wheel boss fitting patterns. Four five-way switch controls can be assigned to functions such as VOLUME and SEEK, depending on the vehicle. The supplied panel labels identify the functions assigned to each control group. These labels feature a UV-resistant film. Switch assignments and illumination colour are fixed and cannot be customised using a computer or smartphone. Night Pager ST BUTTERFLY Switch Box can be combined with the paddle shifters, providing a coordinated steering wheel control and paddle-shift setup for compatible applications. A separate flat ring is available for steering wheels that do not have a central horn-button mounting position. Compatible options include the following: Works Bell RAPFIX GTC / Night Pager GTC FE set: Can be combined with the ST BUTTERFLY to provide an integrated steering wheel setup. The Works Bell WB 550 boss (96 mm) is recommended to provide sufficient clearance for cable movement. If using the shorter WB 550S boss (72 mm), a 20 mm spacer is required, giving a total length of 92 mm. Works Bell Paddle Shifter / Night Pager PADDLE SHIFTER RZ: Can be combined with the ST BUTTERFLY on compatible GR-DAT (8-speed automatic, 4WD) models, integrating steering wheel controls with paddle-shift functionality. The GR-DAT version can also be supplied without the Works Bell Paddle Shifter / Night Pager PADDLE SHIFTER RZ. Works Bell RAPFIX II Quick Release System: A dedicated 16-pin link kit is available to connect the ST BUTTERFLY to the RAPFIX II quick-release system. Important: The VOICE switch for operating the factory audio and navigation systems is not included. When ordering the ST BUTTERFLY, please specify whether the factory-fitted steering wheel has one MODE switch or two. When used with the GTC FE set, repeated cable movement, including bending and extension, can significantly reduce the cable's service life. If a fault or breakage occurs, discontinue use and replace the cable with the vehicle-specific wiring harness available separately. ⚠ Important Fitment Information Night Pager ST BUTTERFLY Switch Box cannot be fitted to the original factory steering wheel. An aftermarket steering wheel or compatible mounting arrangement with six M5 screw mounting points is required. A separate steering wheel boss kit and steering wheel must be purchased; a Works Bell boss kit is strongly recommended. Flat steering wheels with 0mm dish, T-shaped upper spoke surfaces may interfere with the switches. Compatibility should be checked before purchase. Personal Neo Grinta and MOMO Mod. 78 (Veloce) are incompatible steering wheel models. Some functions may not be available when using aftermarket audio or navigation systems, as the product reproduces the original steering wheel's electronic circuitry. Please check compatibility with the relevant system manufacturer before purchase. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct fitment, wiring and clearance.
