Sepia Acrylic Sheet

Soft, warm and quietly antique, our Sepia Acrylic Sheet is a translucent cast acrylic in muted ochre and khaki, drawn through with wispy umber veining like the toning of an old photograph. Unlit it reads calm and earthy, the marbling soft enough to feel more like grain than pattern. Backlight is where it comes alive. At roughly 10 to 15% light transmission the sheet goes from muted to glowing: the ground warms to honey and caramel, and the darker veining sharpens into soft brown streaks, a little like light through tortoise shell or polished horn. If you are matching color from an unlit sample, expect a noticeably warmer result once it is lit. Sepia suits backlit panels, lamp shades and light boxes, illuminated signage, feature walls and partitions, hospitality and retail interiors, and display work for eyewear, leather goods and vintage-inspired brands.
