Barcelona Frame - Crewel Work Kit

A beautiful crewel work project inspired by a late 19th-century embroidery design from Casa Sivilla, a celebrated textile and fashion house founded in Barcelona in 1917 by the draftsman Alfredo Sivilla Benito and his wife, Concepció Carreri. Originally a work on paper, this bountiful design features delicate floral motifs and butterflies. Phillipa Turnbull has created her own contemporary interpretation in Crewel Work, retaining the original outline and adding a colour palette in fresh, vibrant tones inspired by Barcelona in Spring.
