Description The IceBarrel is a cylindrical cold-therapy tub for people who prefer to sit upright. The seated position gives full submersion in a minimal footprint, and the closed shape adds a sense of seclusion for private sessions. Two sizes are available. The standard IceBarrel suits most users. The IceBarrel XL is recommended for anyone over 6'2" (187 cm), so you can submerge fully; it has a fiberglass insert instead of stainless steel. The Icetubs Engine™ cools the water without ice, holds the temperature, and can optionally heat the water for warm and contrast sessions. The tub arrives in two parts, tub and engine, which connect with the supplied connectors. IceBarrel Features Seated full immersion: Built-in seat and upright design for a neck-to-shoulder plunge. Precise temperature control: Set any temperature from 3°C to 38°C on the engine display or in the Icetubs app, with scheduling and Eco Mode. Three-stage filtration: 5-micron filter and chemical-free ozone keep water clean, with a full water cycle every six minutes. Premium materials: Heat-treated Thermowood for weather resistance, with 304 stainless steel. The XL uses a fiberglass insert. Easy access: Includes a step on the engine cover. Upgrade to the optional stairs for extra support getting in and out. No plumbing needed: Fill with a hose, plug into a grounded 220 V outlet and go. No ice, no drainage works. The filters are ISO certified and capture particles smaller than a red blood cell (7 to 8 microns). With normal use the ozonator and filter keep the water fresh for up to one month, and many owners refresh the water roughly every one to two months. Avoid chlorine and salt-based products, which can damage the stainless steel. AquaFinesse, a cleaner made for ice baths, is available as an optional add-on. Setup, power and delivery Setup takes about 5 to 15 minutes, excluding filling the tub Filling takes about 30 minutes with a hose; the water then cools by roughly 3°C per hour depending on outside temperature Draining and refilling takes about 10 minutes with a hose Requires a grounded 220 V outlet.
