Best suited to vehicles that regularly experience sustained high oil temperatures, including dedicated track and motorsport applications. Thermostatic The thermostatic version incorporates an oil thermostat within the sandwich plate to regulate oil flow through the cooler. This allows the engine oil to reach normal operating temperature more efficiently before directing significant oil flow through the external cooler, making it particularly well suited to street-driven and dual-purpose street/track vehicles.
