2023 Pittnauer 'Blonde By Nature'

Place: Burgenland, Austria Variety: Pinot Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc, Welschriesling Farming: Biodynamic Pittnauer is the biodynamic estate of Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer, based in Gols on the eastern side of Austria’s Lake Neusiedl. Their progressive, low-intervention approach has made them one of the leading names in modern Austrian natural wine, producing wines built around energy, texture and drinkability. Blonde By Nature is a skin-contact blend of Pinot Blanc, Gruner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling. Citrus and ripe orchard fruit are layered with white flowers, ginger and fresh herbs. Gently textured with fine phenolic grip, bright acidity keeps the palate energetic through a dry, savoury finish.
