Torabhaig embraces its local community and culture: employing local people to be distillers; championing local products in their gift shop; sponsoring the local shinty team; partnering with the National Centre for Gaelic Language and Culture. Cnoc Na Moine, meaning ‘hill of peat’ in Gaelic, reflects the wild, dramatic beauty of Skye. This third chapter in the Legacy Series is matured in a combination of Bourbon American Oak, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez casks, blending Torabhaig’s signature robust peatiness with rich sherry notes. Nose: gentle peat smoke with aromas of citrus zest and vibrant fruits. There's a layer of vanilla sweetness and freshly cut oak. Palate: a hint of grilled barbecue, spicy black pepper, a subtle balsamic zest, hints of cedar and leather.
