One of the most famous British posters of the Second World War, issued in 1940 shortly after Churchill became Prime Minister. His photograph is montaged against a sky of Hurricanes and a valley of advancing tanks, with a line from his first speech to the Commons as Prime Minister: "LET US GO FOWARD TOGETHER." The poster went up across Britain in the weeks before the Battle of Britain and remains the defining image of the country's resolve that summer. Printed for His Majesty's Stationery Office.
