This wine is bursting with fresh exotic fruit, and is dominated by the delicate Vermentino grape from a mix of old and young vines. Nestled between Apt and Bonnieux, Château de Mille covers 116 hectares, of which 25 are dedicated to vines. Dating from the 13th century, it is the oldest wine estate in the Luberon and used to be a summer residence of the Avignon popes. Its new Franco-American owners, Constance and Lawrence Slaughter, took it over in 2018.
