Jungle Dream

Natalie shot this from Kauaʻi's Nā Pali Coast, where hala trees — indigenous to Hawaiʻi and used for centuries in lauhala weaving — frame a golden-hour view of the Pacific. The cliffs rise as high as 4,000 feet, carved over millions of years into the fluted ridgelines that give the coast its name. Because Nā Pali faces northwest, summer sunsets drop straight into the ocean beyond the cliff line. Golden hour did the rest.
