Super baby alpaca, the premium grade of the first shearing, is woven in Peru with silk into a cloth that is smooth to the touch and falls in soft, liquid folds. At 120 cm by 200 cm it is generous enough to drape over the shoulders like a shawl, yet it weighs just 170 grams. With an evening dress it is the wrap for a wedding, a dinner or a night at the opera, and on a cool spring day it is a scarf that adds warmth without weight.
