The barrels were laid down in the spring of 1993 in the patented rickhouses of the legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, and Diageo's Nicole Austin hand-selected them three decades later for this limited edition. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 54.5% ABV (109 proof).Austin describes the liquid as having incredible depth, rich vanilla and a layered fruit character with real vibrancy, which is rare for a bourbon this old.
