The Disaster Area Designs DPC.micro Gen4 is a compact effects loop switcher featuring three true-bypass loops in a pedalboard-friendly enclosure. Designed for standalone operation or MIDI-controlled integration, it lets you switch individual pedals or entire signal chains while maintaining the flexibility of your existing rig. Each loop can be controlled via MIDI continuous controller (CC) or program change (PC) messages, with up to 120 preset combinations available for recall over MIDI. Manual mode allows you to select individual loops, while preset mode combines multiple loops for quick access to different effects configurations. Three preset modes provide nine onboard presets, and the unit can also send a MIDI program change with each preset selection to control another MIDI device. Gold-contact relays provide true-bypass switching without buffering or signal conditioning, making the DPC.micro Gen4 suitable for impedance-sensitive effects such as fuzz, wah, and vibe pedals. An adjustable muting relay helps suppress switching clicks and pops or mute the audio signal when needed. With standard 5-pin MIDI input and output, USB-C connectivity, and compatibility with the Disaster Area DMC.micro Gen4, the DPC.micro can also expand MIDI-controlled rigs with additional analog effects loops. It is available with soft-touch footswitches or in a switchless under-board configuration.
