Condition: New old stock core and body This custom ASSA dp4400 "Snowman" cutaway is mounted in an ASSA Ruko 2 padlock body and cut away on both sides. Jordan calls it his latest take on a Ruko 2 cutaway, with the dp4400 as the cherry on top... or in the middle. The double-sided cut gives a great view of all of the pins and sliders, while keeping material in the places needed for normal function. Both the core and the body are new old stock. This piece is not to be picked. It is intended for display, mechanical study, and key cycling, and the retained material lets it function normally with gentle, controlled use. Jordan the Locksmith is a full-time locksmith and custom cutaway maker. He has been picking locks since around 2010 and has worked professionally as a locksmith since 2017. Jordan began making cutaways in 2019 as a way to better understand lock mechanics and improve his own picking, starting with simple hand tools before moving into more precise mill work.
