Red Tag Palmer

The Red Tag Palmer from Barbless Flies This fly pattern is a classic interpretation of a North Country Spider pattern. This is a style of pattern which is often overlooked; they come into their own in the late Summer and all through autumn. They are fished 'wet' and tied with a palmered-style body which allows for lots of movement when fished sub-surface. This version includes a contrasting red tail to the brown and peacock body.
