Monte Tondo Garganega Frizzante Verona NV (Veneto, Italy)

The Monte Tondo estate can be found nestled in the gentle hills of Soave, just a few kilometers from Verona. Gino Magnabosco, together with his family, is part of a third generation to run the estate. Thirty-two hectares of vineyards are situated on the best plots that the Soave zone can offer with volcanic soil typical of the area. The white grape that Gino and his family grow is Garganega (also the only white allowed in Soave DOC). Here, we have a slightly bubbly version (frizzante) of the grape which makes it easy to pair with just about anything. We get ripe apple and pear fruit ending on just the right amount of citrus zip.
