This is the cake for the bride who finds beauty in gardens, romance in flowers, and magic in the most exquisite of details — a cake that feels as though it were plucked from the grounds of the Chelsea Flower Show itself and placed at the centre of your most perfect day. Available as a single, two-tier, or three-tier cake to suit your guest numbers and vision. The Chelsea is finished in the most delicate ivory buttercream, hand-painted across every surface with an exquisite raised floral relief — sweeping botanical motifs of blooms and trailing stems that seem to grow organically across the cake in the softest ivory tones. Nestled throughout the painted florals are clusters of beautifully hand-piped buttercream rosettes in the most romantic palette of dusky blush pink, soft sage green, and warm champagne yellow — each one a tiny, perfectly formed bloom in its own right. The overall effect is at once wildly abundant and utterly refined — a garden captured in buttercream. Please note that wedding cake orders require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice. We recommend ordering as early as possible to secure your date, particularly during peak wedding season. Allergen Information Contains milk, gluten (wheat), and eggs. Our chocolate cakes also contain soya. Our cakes are prepared in a kitchen that handles wheat (gluten), eggs, milk, dairy, soya, nuts, and peanuts. Whilst every precaution is taken to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee the absence of traces. How Many Does Your Cake Serve? The Chelsea is available in the following configurations: Single tier — ideal for intimate weddings, elopements, and smaller celebrations Two tier — a beautiful centrepiece for mid-sized celebrations Three tier — a grand, garden-party statement for larger weddings and events Each tier comprises 4 layers of sponge and filling. A standard serving measures 7" x 1.4" across 4 layers; a smaller serving measures 3" x 1.4" across 2 layers. Please refer to the infographic below for a clear visual guide. Make It Yours The Chelsea can be customised in a range of colour palettes to suit your wedding day theme — perhaps all ivory and white for a classic bridal feel, rich jewel tones of burgundy and forest green for an autumnal celebration, or soft lavender and lilac for a dreamy summer wedding. Cake Care Our cakes never contain any gelatine or preservatives unless stated. As wedding cakes are often on display for several hours before cutting, we recommend the following to keep your cake looking and tasting its best: Display your cake in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight at all times Where possible, aim to cut the cake within 4 hours of display — particularly important during the summer months If displaying during summer, we strongly recommend keeping the cake indoors in an air-conditioned room Avoid placing your cake near heat sources, open windows, or in direct sun, as this can cause the buttercream to soften and decorations to shift Your cake will keep fresh for up to 3 days from delivery when stored correctly. Your cake will come with our illustrated cake-cutting guide showing you how to cut a tall cake. To preserve any leftover cake; place in an airtight container with a slice or 2 of white bread and eat it within a week or 2 - refresh the bread as it dries out. For longer preservation, our cakes can be frozen for up to 3 months. Thaw out overnight in the fridge and ear within 2-3 days. Don’t forget to place the cake in an airtight container with a slice of white bread. Alternatively, wrap your cake with cling film/foil and place it in the fridge. Returns Our cakes are lovingly baked to order and cannot be returned unless there is a fault with the product. Any concerns must be raised at the point of delivery so our driver can assist. We are unable to accept responsibility for issues reported after delivery. Where a refund is applicable, the full item must be returned as required by law. Please inspect your cake carefully upon receipt to ensure you are completely satisfied.
