Automatic Faucet Priming Tool for Gravity Water Filters
Filter Preparation Accessory Prime Compatible Gravity Filter Elements with Faucet Pressure This reusable silicone priming tool helps prepare new gravity filter elements and re-prime compatible filters when trapped air affects water flow. Instead of repeatedly squeezing a manual pump, the tool uses controlled household faucet pressure to move water through the filter media. Automatic Priming No Manual Squeezing Reusable Silicone No Batteries Required Material BPA-Free Food-Grade Silicone Faucet Fit Approximately 12–25 mm Power Source Household Faucet Pressure Product Type Reusable Filter Priming Accessory Core Product Benefits Designed to simplify filter preparation and support consistent flow 01 Automatic Faucet Priming Uses controlled faucet pressure to move water through the filter media without repeated hand squeezing. 02 Helps Release Trapped Air Helps displace air pockets inside dry filter media so water can pass through the element more evenly. 03 Supports Filter Flow Priming may help improve the flow of compatible new or previously used filters affected by trapped air or loose debris. 04 Tool-Free Setup No batteries, electrical connection or complicated equipment is required for normal priming. How the Priming Process Works Connect the filter, create a faucet seal and begin with low water flow 01 Prepare the Filter Remove the wing nut and two filter washers from the threaded stem of the compatible gravity filter element. 02 Attach the Priming Tool Fit the narrow connection of the silicone tool securely over the exposed threaded filter stem. 03 Create a Faucet Seal Press the wide silicone end inward to form a concave shape and hold it firmly against the faucet outlet. 04 Prime at Low Flow Open the faucet slowly and rinse at a low flow for approximately 60 seconds, or until the water leaving the filter runs clear. Leak-prevention reminder: Hold the silicone adapter firmly against the faucet before turning on the water. Begin with low pressure. Opening the faucet too quickly may cause splashing or separate the tool from the faucet outlet. Compatibility Information Confirm both faucet dimensions and filter connection before use Compatible Gravity Filter Elements Designed for Purewell gravity filter elements and many compatible threaded filters with a similar priming connection. It may also work with selected Black Berkey, ProOne and BB9-2-style replacement filter elements. Purewell Filters Black Berkey Elements ProOne Filters BB9-2-Style Filters Recommended Faucet Diameter 12–25 mm The stretch-fit silicone opening is suitable for many common round or similarly shaped faucet outlets within this diameter range. Compatibility reminder: Faucet aerators, square spouts, pull-out spray heads and filter stem dimensions vary. Confirm that both connections are secure before opening the faucet. Care & Use Information Clean and inspect the reusable silicone tool after each use 01 Rinse Before Use Rinse the priming tool with clean water before connecting it to the faucet and filter element. 02 Clean After Priming Rinse away loose filter particles and residual water after the priming process is complete. 03 Air-Dry Before Storage Allow the silicone tool to dry in a clean, ventilated area before placing it with the filter accessories. 04 Inspect Before Reuse Replace the tool if the silicone becomes torn, cracked, permanently stretched or unable to maintain a secure seal. Important: This product is a filter preparation accessory and does not filter water independently. It must be used together with a compatible gravity water filter element.
