This is one of California's great producers and their wines are simply sublime. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is sensational - superbly balanced and nuanced with an array of flavours - citrus, pear, apple, lemon curd, peach, mango, butter, smoke and more. The fruit is wonderfully ripe and juicy but it's a dry wine with crisp acidity, a hint of minerality and superb length. It's so lovely that words struggle to do it justice and part of a really fine portfolio.
