A tribute to one of the Potteries' most celebrated names, The Minton is a hand-crafted architectural sculpture by Chris Twigg — artist, model maker, and proud son of Stoke-on-Trent. Inspired by the distinctive bottle ovens that once dominated the Potteries factory skyline, this piece 'The Minton' is part of Twigg's Kiln Character Collection — a series designed to bring the iconic silhouettes of the Potteries' industrial heritage back to life. Minton's legacy as one of Britain's finest ceramic manufacturers is woven into the very identity of Stoke-on-Trent, and this sculpture honours that history in miniature. Hand-cast in Jesmonite and individually hand-painted with weathered effects, each piece develops its own unique character. No two are identical. The Minton is one of three kiln designs available via Barewall, alongside The Gladstone No11 and The Three Sisters.
