Acrylic Dot Painting Class 10/1 1-3 CST

Join Susan Smathers at Dogwood Exchange, 4950 Hwy 127 S Crossville, TN on Thursday, October 1St from 1-3 CST. Susan's hands‑on class invites you to experiment with acrylics in a relaxed, playful setting. Through guided demonstrations and open studio time, you’ll learn how to build color layers, create texture with sponges, and produce precise dot patterns with a variety of dotting tools. By the end of the session, you’ll complete two 4” original paintings that showcase contrast, rhythm, and surface detail. What You Will Make and Learn Two small paintings Techniques covered: color mixing, layering, sponge texture, dotting patterns, and simple composition Skills gained: control of dot size and spacing, creating depth with layers, combining texture and color for visual impact Materials Provided Provided: acrylic paints, canvases (two small), sponges, basic dotting tools, brushes, palettes, aprons, disposable cups for water Class size is up to 6 students with a class fee of $35. Students will have pint color choices. THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD IN THE STONE HOMESTEADS HOUSE. CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY -This class must meet a minimum attendees. If the minimum is not met, the class may be cancelled and you will receive a full refund. -You can cancel up to 7 days prior to the initial class and receive a full refund. -No refunds will be issued less than 7 days prior unless we can fill your spot.
