Kennametal Square Shooter 50 mm Venturi Nozzle
The Kennametal Square Shooter™ 50 mm is a venturi blast nozzle with a square exit and a wear-resistant tungsten carbide liner. The nozzle features a robust polyurethane jacket and a 50 mm aluminium thread. The square exit produces a rectangular blast pattern. While a standard long venturi blast nozzle with a round blast pattern may require up to 50% overlap between passes, the Square Shooter™ requires only 10 to 20% overlap. This means fewer blasting passes are needed to treat a surface completely, which can reduce abrasive consumption and increase productivity. The Square Shooter™ 50 mm is designed for use with a blast hose with an internal diameter of 25 mm (1"). The nozzle is particularly suitable for preparing large, open and flat surfaces such as steel structures, ship decks and floors. On unobstructed surfaces, the wide rectangular blast pattern can be used to its full advantage. The tungsten carbide liner provides reliable wear resistance when used with iron silicate, aluminium silicate and standard steel abrasives. The 50 mm threaded version is available in a wider range of bore sizes than the 1-1/4" threaded version, including bore size #7.
