Ceramic bowl by Gabriel Burmeister – Gabriel Fajans, Sweden (c. 1930s)

A Swedish Art Deco ceramic bowl designed by Gabriel Burmeister for AB Gabriel Fajans Verken, likely dating from the 1930s. The bowl features a four-lobed form raised on four stylised paw-shaped feet, with animal-form handles at each end. It is finished in a pale green glaze with warm brown and orange tonal variation along the rim and upper body. The underside is marked with the Gabriel factory mark and the model number 766 “Oliv.” The form and decoration are characteristic of Swedish Art Deco ceramics from the period.
