2024 Rubner 5 String Double Bass

This is a 5 sring double bass made in 2024. I would describe this as a new but DEMO bass as I have been gigging on it. MAP is supposed to be $12k, but with a bit of gig wear I'm listing it at $10,995. I have played Beethoven 9 , Swan lake, some Frank Zappa music and several jazz gigs on this bass and t doesn't disappoint. While it looks like it has Thomastik BelCanto strings on it don't be fooled, these are actually pre-production Thomastic Infeld T.I. strings and they work very nicely for pretty much everything I've thrown at it with the exception of slap bass for which they are a bit on the stiff side. This bass has a relatvely petite neck for a 5 string with pretty much normal bridge spacing.
