Large Cameo Glass Vase with Blossoms and Birds after Émile Gallé

A magnificent large cameo glass vase decorated with blue flowers, blossoming branches and birds in relief. The vase is made in the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil style, after the work of the renowned French artist Émile Gallé (1846–1904). The vivid yellow ground creates a beautiful contrast with the blue floral decoration and dark green details. Dimensions: 44 x 20 x 20 cm (17.4 x 7.9 x 7.9 inches). Weight: 3 kg (6.7 lbs). It is signed 'Gallé' on the side of the vase and marked 'Gallé type' underneath. A highly decorative and colourful piece of cameo glass.
