Ardbeg Galileo is a limited edition release distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2012, created to celebrate Ardbeg’s unique experiment of maturing spirit in space. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Sicilian Marsala wine casks, Galileo delivers a rich, complex profile that combines Ardbeg’s signature peaty smoke with layers of tropical fruit, toasted nuts, and earthy sweetness. This release won the title of World’s Best Single Malt at the 2013 World Whisky Awards and is now one of the most sought-after Ardbeg bottlings ever released.
