Colombia Buenos Aires
INFORMATION TASTING NOTES VARIETIES Jairo, the patriarch of the Arcila family, unknowingly and quietly started a coffee dynasty in Armenia, Colombia. He purchased a few farms over the years, producing commercial coffee and struggling to make ends meet. His wife, Luz Helena (owner of Maracay) took over the management of some of these farms, keeping her hands in the dirt and an eye on quality. And when their sons decided to begin exporting specialty coffee, Jairo and Luz Helena suddenly became internationally renowned for their hard work. This is the second year we’ve enjoyed a washed Caturra from Jairo, a stark contrast to the co-fermented coffees he’s also become known for. CEDAR MILK CHOCOLATE MARSHMALLOW CATURRA
