Made to Fit Part 2: Design & Draft

Class Details Learn to use your fitted bodice block as a design tool – manipulating darts, changing silhouettes, and drafting your first real garments from your own personal block. This course picks up where Made to Fit Part 1 left off: you’ll arrive with your fitted block and leave with the skills and pattern pieces to make multiple garments from it. No more being limited by what commercial patterns offer – once you can draft from your own block, the design possibilities are yours. Prerequisite: Made to Fit Part 1 (Bodice & Sleeve Block Drafting) or equivalent – you must arrive with a fitted bodice block and sleeve block. 2 days of tuition across 2 sessions Small group: 6-8 students Skill level: Intermediate – you must have a fitted bodice block to work from You’ll leave with: dart manipulation skills, neckline variations, and multiple drafted garment patterns ready to make up at home Investment: $450 AUD Image shown is an example of what can be drafted from a bodice block – not what you will draft in the class.
