Sicilian Wine Tasting Experience

We've teamed up with the glorious Vinca, who are on a mission to elevate the quality of canned wine, to bring you this tasting selection for a cosy vino and pasta experience. Each can is 187ml, perfect for those nights when you just want one glass! We've included all three wines, which are all sourced from Organic vineyards in Sicily and made by Jack, Vincas winemaker. Their Red includes 80% Nero d'avlova, a wonderfully juicy red grape and to top it up with 20% Frappato to bring a little dried strawberry and pomegranate to the finish. It's a proper Friday night pasta wine. Then you've got the Organic Rose, which is made from 100% Syrah grapes - from a selection of vineyards that show off the west coast Sicilian terroir. Careful pressing allows the the Syrah to bring a slight spice to the finish. Perfect for these colder months. Last on the tasting list is the Vinca White, a vegan wine made from carefully selected organic Catarratto - a grape synonymous with Sicilian white wine. The grapes are lightly pressed to retain all the crispy, tropical and citrus fruit notes. YUM. To accompany this wine tasting experience (because what is wine without pasta and vice versa) we've selected a spelt rigatoni from Pastaficho Carleschi, the first pasta in the UK made using ancient stoneground grains (Great for your gut and our planets soil health) as well as a smoked tomato pesto from Isle of Wight Tomatoes. We've also included a bottle of Unto's Tuscan cold pressed olive oil for all that drizzle action. All topped off with those addictive Perello olives from Spain and a big bag of Truffle crisps from Torres. Transport yourself (or your lucky giftee) to Sicily over winter with this wine tasting gift.
