Custom Turner 251 Bullet Mic Vintage 99A86 Controlled Magnetic Red Pearl Powder Coat Fat Tone! Hot. High-Impedance Harmonica Microphone Vintage August 1965 Shure Controlled Magnetic Element 99A86 EH Fully Tested and Working Built from a classic Turner desk microphone, this custom bullet mic has been chopped, precision milled, and professionally powder coated to create a compact, lightweight shell that’s perfect for harmonica players. The center “mohawk” rib has been thinned down, resulting in a smaller diameter that’s comfortable to cup and easy to hold during long performances. The microphone is fitted with a Switchcraft 5/8-inch screw-on connector and a smooth volume control for maximum on-stage versatility. The shell is accented by a brushed chrome grille ring. Completing the custom look is a dimensional metal Turner 251 medallion mounted in the chrome grille—a rare and distinctive touch you won’t see on many microphones. As good as it looks, it sounds even better. Expect a full, rich tone with thick, raspy distortion and excellent response—everything you’d want from a high-performance vintage-style harp mic.
