This 300ml bottle brings Ayahibiki, a contemporary imo (sweet potato) shochu from Satsuma Shuzo in Kagoshima, in a compact, easy-to-try size. Brewed using clean sake yeast and low-temperature fermentation, it has a refreshingly light, fruity character with a distinctive green apple aroma — quite different from the earthier, smokier style of traditional Shiranami. Great as an introduction to the style, or as a clean base for cocktails. Enjoy on the rocks, with soda, or in a mojito-style mix. 25% ABV, 300ml.
